The French Embassy is looking for an Accounting Clerk, Secretary and Switchboard Operator to join its political chancery and administrative department starting 27 January 2014.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1.As an Accounting Clerk (under the Accountant’s supervision):
- Files and submits the required forms for bank withdrawals and bank transfers,
- Collects and settles Embassy bills,
- When requested, performs data entry in accounting software, especially during the accountant’s leave.

2.As a Secretary:
- Performs secretarial duties for the Deputy Head of Mission,
- Helps with distributing, sorting and filing incoming / outgoing mail,
- Assists the Ambassador’s PA in organizing and coordinating work plans for delegations visiting Myanmar, missions, as well as seminars and workshops.

3.As a Switchboard Operator:
- Assists in phone reception (part-time).

Qualifications: Applicants must have at least 2 years of working experience in a related field and an excellent level in written and oral Myanmar, English and French languages. Good organizational skills and the ability to use a computer effectively are required.
